This fine young filly, foaled in 2006, was the first Brynoer cob to be sired by
Geler Ryan. She has recently been sold on to Gareth Davies, a young farmer who
is hoping to establish a new stud in Llanilar, near Aberystwyth, in the heart of
Welsh Cob country. This is the same part of the world from which her sire
originates. Gerald Hargest was sad to see such a fine horse leave Brynoer, but
is proud that, with our first attempt at producing first class stock, the
Brynoer name has managed to gain a footing in a part of the world where some of
the finest Welsh Cobs have been bred.
We feel that we have completed the equestrian equivalent of the proverbial
"taking coals to Newcastle" and we have succeeded.
We are sure that this is not the last we shall hear of Brynoer Destiny. When
we told him that we were setting up Brynoer.com, Brynoer Destiny's new owner was
pleased to hear from us and he has promised to send us some new photos of
Destiny for inculsion on our site
